NFL Week 16: Top 5 Bets To Make

Giants at Eagles

Line: Giants -1.5, Pick: Giants

The Eagles have fallen in their last five games, and the Giants have won eight of their last nine. This is a tale of opposites. While the Eagles started the season hot and have seemingly fallen apart, the Giants have gotten better and better as the season has gone on, and are fighting for a playoff spot. The Giants are going to clinch that playoff spot in this game, and it will be by more than a point and a half cushion.

Jets at Patriots

Line: Patriots -16.5, Pick: Jets

The Jets are bad, but not that bad. They are a team who has some talented players and have just not been able to put it together. They also gave the Patriots a run for their money in their last meeting. They will lose this game, but not by more than 16.5.

Titans at Jaguars

Line: Titans -5, Pick: Titans

Similar to the Giants-Eagles matchup, the Titans are on a role and the Jaguars are the most underachieved team in the league. Regardless of the new head coach in Jacksonville, the Titans are just too good to let one slip against the Jaguars. The Titans will win this one comfortably.

Chargers at Browns

Line: Chargers -6, Pick: Chargers

The Browns are 2-12 against the spread this year, yet their lines stay too low. This week the Chargers are going to prove that the Browns really are worse than oddsmakers give them credit for. The Chargers are not as bad as they seem, and they are going to dominate the Browns just like everyone else.

Buccaneers at Saints

Line: Saints -3, Pick: Buccaneers

Sticking with the theme of road teams, the Buccaneers are going to be on the right side of odds this week. After putting up a great fight against one of the league’s best, and winning their last five previous to that, the Bucs have proven their talent. The Saints, on the other hand, have been on and off all year. The Bucs are going to steal one in New Orleans, or it is going to be a nail biter.
